The Vice President for Planning, Research and Extension leads the College’s strategic planning, research, and community extension initiatives. The office promotes innovation, evidence-based decision-making, and sustainable development by fostering a culture of research excellence, institutional planning, and meaningful community engagement in support of Bulacan Polytechnic College’s mission and vision.

Dr. Jene T. Sotto, LPT
Dr. Jene T. Sotto, PhD is dedicated in academic and public servant currently serving as the Vice President for Research and Extension at Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC).
He possesses an extensive academic background, having completed a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Social Studies (BSEd-Soc Stud), a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd-Soc Stud), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management (Ph.D.-ELM).
Dr. Sotto's higher education journey spans notable institutions in the region, including studies at La Consolacion University Philippines, Bulacan State University, and New Era University.
Throughout his tenure at BPC, he has transitioned from an instructor to a key institutional administrator, heavily contributing to the college's educational research framework, community extension programs, and the academic development of technical-vocational curricula within the province of Bulacan.
