The Sentry
The official student publication of Bulacan Polytechnic College, dedicated to informing, engaging, and giving students a platform to express their ideas, stories, and perspectives on campus and community affairs.
Vision
To embody press freedom and promote creative writing so as to produce more fearless forecasters of public information for BPCians.
Mission
To cover events in campus, write news articles and publish them for BPCians and the like to promote instant access to information.
“The Sentry” means “guard”
To symbolize its role in protecting truth and transparency.
Role and Purpose
- Serves as the “eyes and ears” of the BPCians.
- Acts as a watchdog of the institution and bridge between students and the administration.
- Promotes press freedom, responsible journalism, and creative writing.

The Sentry’s Growth

Started collaborating with BPC's other branches in Obando and San Miguel. Marked the beginning of The Sentry’s growth and outreach beyond the main campus.
