Sportsmanship

BULACAN POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE acknowledges the benefits of both individual and team competition greatly to the growth of morality and school spirit. Fair play and good sportsmanship are crucial components of this experience.


Respect for others is expected of all our participants, coaches, staff, parents, and student-athletes as they represent BULACAN POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE on and off the field of competition.


We desire and strive to uphold the greatest standards of decency, self-control, sportsmanship, and the capacity to be gracious hosts and guests.

Objectives

1. Establishing a strong sports program as essential component of the education process for the student as a whole.

2. Promote personal success and the respect that accompanies it.
3. Create competitive teams that are decent, distinguished, and perform well.

4. Improve the experience of students who are athletes outside of the classroom and give them options that are challenging but beneficial.

5. Design an effective sports program that emphasizes instruction and skill development.

6. Develop our student-athletes to uphold moral and ethical principles, serve as role models and exhibit good citizenship.

BPC Kalinaw refers to the Bulacan Polytechnic College Chorale – KALINA / KALINAW, the official cultural singing and performing arts group of Bulacan Polytechnic College based in Malolos, Bulacan. It is a student-led chorale and performing arts organization composed of passionate BPCians who share a love for music and artistic expression. The group aims to represent the college in musical performances, cultural events, and campus programs while fostering the development of students’ talents and creativity. The name “Kalinaw,” which means peace or serenity, reflects the group’s commitment to promoting harmony and unity through music.

BPC Dagyaw is the official campus dance crew and performing arts group of Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC), showcasing the institution’s talent in hip-hop, contemporary, and commercial dance styles. The team plays a vital role in representing BPC in various school events and performances. As the premier dance group on campus, BPC Dagyaw energizes major school functions, including General Orientation programs where they welcome incoming freshmen with dynamic performances. The name “Dagyaw,” a Hiligaynon term closely associated with bayanihan or communal unity, reflects the group’s strong sense of teamwork and synchronized artistry. Based at the BPC Main Campus in Malolos, the crew actively conducts open auditions and dance clinics at the Main Covered Court, providing opportunities for aspiring BPCians to develop their skills and become part of the official roster.

The BPC Kislap Folkloric Dance Troupe is the official cultural and traditional folk dance group of Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC), dedicated to preserving and showcasing the richness of Filipino heritage. Together with Kalinaw (Chorale) and Dagyaw (Dance Crew), they form the core performing arts groups of the college, each contributing to the vibrant cultural identity of BPC. The troupe’s mission centers on celebrating Filipino traditions through performances that highlight traditional rhythms, intricate footwork, and graceful hand movements unique to regional folk dances. As competitive performers, the BPC Kislap Folkloric Dance Troupe actively represents the college in local and regional cultural events, earning recognition and achieving championship titles in folk dance competitions.

The BPC Hawks stand as a proud symbol of strength, unity, and competitive excellence, representing Bulacan Polytechnic College in various athletic, esports, and cultural arenas. As athlete-ambassadors of the institution, they embody discipline, teamwork, and resilience, consistently striving to bring honor to the college in every competition. Their passion and determination reflect the spirit of BPC—driven, dynamic, and committed to growth both on and off the field.
The BPC Hawks have demonstrated remarkable success across multiple disciplines. In esports, the MLBB team Pakitang G! claimed the campus championship title with a dominant 3–0 sweep in the grand finals. In athletics, the Women’s Volleyball team secured key victories in the BUCAA league, while the Women’s Doubles Table Tennis team achieved a podium finish in collegiate meets.

Beyond competitive sports, the Green Hawks Pep Squad continues to shine in major provincial events, and individual athletes like Mark Stephen Marquez have earned recognition in regional chess tournaments. These milestones highlight the team’s dedication to excellence, sportsmanship, and school pride.
