Bulacan Polytechnic College Celebrates Golden Jubilee Online

 
Bulacan Polytechnic College celebrated its momentous 50th year anniversary using a blend of online and limited in-person interaction, PHACTO, Malolos, December 20, 2021.
The three-day celebration was held with 
both online and offline activities due to restrictions posed by the current pandemic. Rev. Father Howard Tamayo, who conducted the mass as a commencement of the event, however, gave a positive light on this years theme, “Ginintuang taon tungo sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng kasanayan, kakayanan, at katatagan sa kabila ng m
ga hamon ng bagong normal”.
The institution also gave recognition and expressed appreciation for its remarkable teachers and staff. BPC’s most successful alumni like Mrs. Norma Luarca, Atty. Eden Bautista, and Mrs. Melody de Jesus were given recognition. Those who were in service for 20 years namely, Mrs. Victoria Sison, Mr. Ferdinand Tamayo, and Mr. Mauro Tolentino; for 22 years Mrs. Maria Rosana Manio, Mrs. Gregoria Santos, and Mr. Joel DG. Reyes; for 24 years Mrs. Marissa Mendoza, and Mrs. Marita Ramos; for 25 years Mrs. Melody de Jesus; and, for 50 years Mrs. Mercedes Belen, all received loyalty award.
 

Maam Belen, as known by many, was also featured in an audio-visual presentation as part of the launching of BPC’s coffee table book entitled, “Salamisim ng Kahapon” which was inspired by her story.
The said event was graced by significant personalities such as the President of ALCU RIII Atty. Gloria V. Banas, CHED Deputy Executive Director and UNIFAST OIC Executive Director Atty. Ryan Estebes, Malolos City Mayor Gilbert “Bebong” Gatchalian, Vice Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado and Governor Daniel Fernando who each gave a message commending the College President, Atty. Joseph Inocencio for his efforts and promising their full support to BPC.
